Officials say they have arrested a 17-year-old suspect in connection to a shooting during a traffic stop with police.
Courts records released yesterday show Artevion Darnell Lathers is facing charges of attempted first-degree murder of a police officer, illegal use of a weapon, and possession of a stolen firearm.
Lathers is accused of shooting at police after they pulled him over on Plank Road for having a faulty tail light.
Baker Police say witnesses originally gave them false information that led them to release a photo of a suspect who turned out to be deceased.
