The man who allegedly beat his mentally handicapped son to death last week is now behind bars.
Officials confirmed Tuesday they had taken Ellsworth Hull into custody in connection to the death of 40-year-old Derrick Christophe.
Detectives say they found Christophe deceased in a bathtub with cuts and bruises across his body that were caused when Hull beat him with a mop handle during a fight.
Hull surrendered to authorities without incident and is now facing a charge of second-degree murder.
