An alert student at Louisiana State University is being dubbed a hero after helping officers catch a man who was accused of burglarizing vehicles on campus.
Police say Randall Davis was arrested yesterday on two counts of burglary after a student at LSU reported him to the authorities.
According to reports, the female student was trying to park her car on Tuesday in the West Ag Lot on campus when she spotted Davis appearing to case vehicles.
The student said she immediately contacted LSU Police and then proceeded to tail the suspect in her car until officials arrived.
Davis now awaits his preliminary trial in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
