The city is inviting families to its seventh annual Mardi Gras Festival.
According to officials, the event will offer a wide range of performances from blues, soul, reggae and Latin artists.
Event coordinators ask that guests not bring ice chests.
The seventh annual Baton Rouge Mardi Gras Festival is scheduled for Saturday, February 22nd from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at North Boulevard Town Square.
