East Baton Rouge Mayor Sharon Weston Broome is hosting a community prayer event tomorrow.
The faith-based event called Prayer, Praise & Gratitude: A Community United will lead attendees in prayers that focus on the stability of families, unity within the community, and public safety.
The audience will also enjoy musical praise, with leaders giving thanks for 2019 and praying for peace in the upcoming year.
The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. tomorrow at Baton Rouge's Capitol Park Welcome Center.
