A daycare worker is facing a cruelty to juveniles charge after allegedly shoving a two-year-old boy.
Officials arrested Janice Washington yesterday after surveillance footage caught her shoving a toddler onto a sleeping cot at A Lil One's Learning Center on Stumberg Lane.
According to the arrest report, police were notified of the incident on December 5th after a parent filed a complaint that her child suffered injuries including bruising on the child's nose and eyes while at the daycare.
Washington claims that the child injured himself as he "threw a fit" while she tried to put him down for a nap but police say the footage proves otherwise.
