The LSU Foundation Board of Directors are appointing an interim chief.
Former Chairman of the Foundation's National Board Robert M. Stuart Junior has been named the Board of Directors interim president and CEO.
The appointment goes into effect January 1st after current president J. Bryan Benchoff retires December 31st.
Directors say they will be naming a permanent president and CEO in the months to come.
