A Louisiana-based home health company is agreeing to settle a civil fraud complaint by paying millions to the US government.
Health Care Options, Inc. was accused of defrauding the Medicare and Louisiana Medicaid programs by submitting false claims for payment for home health services.
The health company reportedly committed the fraud between 2011 and 2018 and were ordered to pay $2.5 million to the government.
