The East Baton Rouge Parish school system could spend $100 million for three new schools.
The possible three new schools won't necessarily be built in the newly proposed city limits of St. George but are planning to be south of the I-10.
School Superintendent Warren Drake said that purchasing land within St. George's city limits doesn't make much sense, adding most of the desirable land in St. George is already taken.
