The family of former LSU basketball player Wayde Sims are planning a remembrance ceremony for this upcoming Saturday, September 28th.
The ceremony is set to take place at Resthaven Memorial Gardens beginning at 9 a.m. with a butterfly release scheduled for 9:44.
Sims was fatally shot last year on September 28th when he stepped in to help a friend in an altercation.
