Security Increased At Baton Rouge Area Schools After Threat

School officials say they are increasing security today at Woodlawn Elementary, Middle, and High schools due to an electronic threat.

The District sent a letter to parents yesterday informing them a threat had been made electronically which referenced Woodlawn Middle School.

According to reports, the threat was made in a video and appeared to be a copycat from a similar threat made earlier in the year.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Department is currently investigating the threat and where it originated.
