Baton Rouge Rehab Hospital has launched a free pain management education class.
The class is geared toward those with acute pain as opposed to chronic pain and features a licensed clinical social worker and a physical therapist working together with the class.
The new course hopes to provide education and techniques to manage pain outside of traditional medical management, with a focus on the emotional aspect of pain.
The first class is today from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
