The West Baton Rouge Sheriff's office says a deputy shot a suspect at a Port Allen motel yesterday.
The Advocate reports that the deputy was serving a warrant at the Budget 7 Motel on Highway 190 West around 7 p.m before the incident.
The suspect nor the nature of the warrant has been revealed.
