The former principal of LSU's University Laboratory School is filing a lawsuit alleging she was defamed and demoted without a proper hearing.
Myra Broussard was demoted to Special Assistant to the Interim Superintendent following an audit into the school's practices and finances.
Broussard's suit claims her salary was drastically cut without approval by the board of supervisor, she was not given proper notice of her termination as an instructor and she wasn't given the chance to publicly clear her name.
