A man is facing charges after allegedly setting his sister's trailer on fire in Livingston Parish and trying to prevent firefighters from putting it out.
On Saturday, 39-year-old Hershel Kysar Jr. told firefighters who responded to the fire at the 21000-block of Vincent Acres Circle to "let it burn."
Kysar allegedly told officials that he set the trailer on fire to get rid of it.
Police arrested him on Sunday and charged him with charges of simple arson and obstructing a firefighter.
No injuries were reported.
