Baton Rouge police say they arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman after a brief standoff.
Yesterday afternoon, 36-year-old Roderick Dewayne Birks refused to exit his home on Amarillo Street, prompting a three-hour stand off between him and police.
Birks had a forged massage therapist license and allegedly sexually assaulted a woman at the Massage Emporium in downtown Baton Rouge back in April.
He faces several charges including sexual battery and sexual conduct prohibited during a massage.
