Greenwell Springs road In Central will remain closed for several days after collapsing due to high water on Saturday.
Central Mayor David Barrow says a drainage pipe that had been sinking finally gave away on Saturday after massive flooding.
The soonest repairs can be made is by next week, but officials say it is all dependent on how quickly water drains from the area. Drivers are being advised to avoid the area.
