Medical experts are ruling the death of a one-year-old boy a homicide.
Officials say an autopsy shows Josiah Crockett died over the weekend as the result of multiple blunt force injuries to the chest and abdomen. Crockett was brought to the hospital this weekend, where he later died.
Police say Crockett lived with his father and stepmother in East Baton Rouge Parish, and a search of the home resulted in additional weapons and drug charges for both of them.
