Baton Rouge General is expanding cardiothoracic surgery services with the hiring of an additional surgeon.
Dr. V. Antoine Keller is a board-certified cardiovascular and surgeon who is being brought to the facility to work with adult cardiac and thoracic patients. Dr. Keller specializes in heart valve surgery, trans-catheter valve replacement and minimal access surgery.
The hospital has also hired a registered nurse to help coordinate the clinic's structural heart disease programs.
