Reports say a legislative panel is approving initial plans for a $30 million flyover to College Drive from I-10 West in Baton Rouge.
According to the Advocate, it was approved by the joint House-Senate transportation committees at yesterday's meeting
The funding is part of a $380 million project to widen I-10 between the Mississippi River Bridge to the I-10/I-12 split. The project is anticipated to be complete by 2023.
