A steel pipe manufacturer is announcing plans to expand two plants in Baton Rouge, potentially creating hundreds of jobs.
Stupp Corp. says it will invest $22 million into expanding the plants, creating over 130 direct jobs. The company says the positions will have an average annual salary of over $60,000 and include benefits.
The project is also expected to result in about 300 indirect jobs.
