A grand jury in Livingston Parish is indicting Dakota Theriot on three charges of first-degree murder.
Theriot is accused of killing his girlfriend Summer Ernest, her brother and her father in Livingston Parish. Officials say he fatally shot them before traveling to his family's home in Ascension Parish where he killed his own mother and father.
Theriot was arrested the following day at his grandmother's home in Virginia.
The jury in Livingston Parish handed down the indictment today, following his first-degree murder charges for the death of his parents in Ascension Parish.
