An arraignment date has been set for the man accused of killing LSU basketball player Wayde Sims.
Officials say Dyteon Simpson will be back in court on Thursday, January 31st.
Simpson was indicted earlier this month on one count of second-degree murder.
Police arrested Simpson hours after he allegedly shot and killed Sims near Southern University in September. Arrest records state Simpson admitted to police he intentionally shot Sims.
