A man from the Shreveport area will now be facing a second-degree murder charge after the death of a New Year's Eve shooting victim in Livingston Parish.
The sheriff's office says 39-year-old Jeremy Campbell died yesterday after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in the Watson area.
Officials say 38-year-old Michael Meade surrendered the same day. He and Campbell had argued earlier in the day prior to the shooting.
