Hundreds of animals have a place to call home thanks to LSU's new pet shelter on campus.
The $12 million Companion Animal Alliance facility opened at LSU in November and already has nearly 350 adoptions.
The alliance is working to open a retail store at the facility, where all proceeds will go into caring for the animals up for adoption at the facility.
