A Prairieville woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Baton Rouge early New Year's Day morning.
State police say the victim, 36-year-old Latasha Harris, was pronounced dead after being rushed to Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
Troopers say her car, for unknown reasons, veered off Airline Highway around 6 a.m. and struck a guardrail, and then crossed over the road and hit another guardrail. They say impairment may have been a factor in the crash.
