There appear to be a few rotten apples in the barrel of postal workers in the Baton Rouge area.
Baton Rouge Business Report says that several letter carriers have been fired after it was discovered mail was being thrown in the trash or returned to the post office undelivered. The abnormalities occurred out of the Bennington Avenue post office with folks in the University Gardens area not receiving any mail last week.
No word on whether criminal charges are pending.
