A now ex-teacher in the city of Baker in East Baton Rouge Parish is facing seven counts of simple battery, her alleged victims all students.
As of Wednesday, 69-year-old Etta Dunn was no longer employed by Advantage Charter Academy.
Police say the mother of one victim says her son was choked By Dunn. Officials say an investigation was launched after the school was made aware of the allegations.
