The parents of a three-year-old girl who was found drowned in a swimming pool late last month in Pointe Coupee Parish are facing criminal charges.
Both 28-year-old Scottie Guilbeaux and his ex-girlfriend, 26-year-old April Feast, have been arrested for second-degree murder in the death of the child November 29th.
Amaya Guilbeaux had been missing for about three hours when discovered in a neighbor's pool by the woman's sister.
Deputies say her parents had left her unsupervised as they smoked marijuana and slept.
