The MoveEBR sales tax approved by voters Saturday will start being collected April 1st. That word yesterday from the Broome administration.
The half-cent, 30-year tax is expected to bring in more than $900 million and will be earmarked for upwards of 70 projects to improve road conditions and tackle traffic bottlenecks in the capital city.
About $35 million will be spent to address the synchronization of traffic lights along major traffic routes in the area.
