A young Livingston Parish man is behind bars for allegedly murdering his father.
In fact, the sheriff says 23-year-old Joshua Faust called 911 around noon Monday to let them know he had choked his father to death at their home on Pine Hill Drive.
Deputies found 50-year-old Larry Faust unresponsive on arrival and he was later pronounced dead.
The motive for the killing remains under investigation with the younger Faust charged with second-degree murder.
