Charges are pending against the driver of a car involved in the death of a motorcyclist yesterday morning in Baton Rouge.
State police say 40-year-old Evelyn Carrasco died at the scene when she and the Yongfu motorcycle she was operating were struck on Siegen Lane when the car made a left turn from Perkins Road into her path. The impact threw Carrasco off the motorcycle.
So far, 27-year-old Folakemi Stinson has been cited for failure to yield.
