Another man linked to the murder-for-hire killing of the wife of a Baton Rouge automobile dealer is headed to prison.
36-year-old Daniel Richter of Walker pleaded guilty Monday to the lesser charge of manslaughter, as well as second-degree kidnapping in the 2015 shooting death of Taherah Ghassemi. He was sentenced to 50 years in prison.
In exchange for the plea agreement, he'll be required to testify at the trial of two men charged with first-degree murder in the case, including the victim's husband, Hamid Ghassemi, who is accused of paying out $10,000 to have his wife killed after paying out $1 million to her in a divorce settlement.
