System's Chance Of Developing In Gulf Grows

Tropical trouble is brewing in the Caribbean and it could threaten the Gulf Coast late next week.

The National Hurricane Center is giving a weather system off the coast of Nicaragua a high chance of growing to become a tropical depression or storm within the next five days.

It's on a north to northwesterly track, with forecasters indicating that it could eventually pose a severe weather threat to an area stretching from Louisiana to Florida.
