State police are investigating a crash that killed a Baton Rouge man.
The single-vehicle wreck happened shortly after midnight Wednesday on LA 18 north of LA 3120 in Ascension Parish when a car being driven by 27-year-old Donald Singleton veered off the roadway, traveled through a ditch and slammed into an embankment.
Troopers say Singleton died at the scene and was not wearing a seat belt when the accident happened.
