Baton Rouge police are awaiting the extradition from Texas of a man suspected in a deadly home invasion two years ago.
Richard James Johnson was arrested in Dallas last Thursday. He and another man are accused of busting into the Ritterman Avenue home of Juan Montgomery in December 2016 and shooting him multiple times.
The 37-year-old Montgomery died at the scene.
