An investigation continues into the tragic death of a two-year-old boy who accidentally shot himself in the face with a gun he found in his home in Livingston.
Sheriff's officials in Livingston Parish say the incident happened late yesterday morning at a Murphy Estate Lane residence, the toddler apparently used a stool to gain access to a handgun lying on a counter top.
No charges had been filed as of late last night and the child's name had not been released.
