As expected, a tropical wave emerged off the coast of Africa Friday.
The National Hurricane Center says the wave will be moving quickly westward over the next five days and that will hinder any potential development, putting the chance of that happening at near zero percent.
The wave is forecast to head west at about 20 miles per hour.
Forecasters say the Lesser Antilles might be end for some showers and storms by the middle of next week.
