Federal prosecutors say a Gonzales man is headed to prison for his role in a heroin trafficking network based in Ascension Parish and Houston, Texas.
U.S. Attorney Brandon Fremin announced yesterday that a judge had sentenced Darwin "Zero" Elphage to ten years behind bars.
He and more than a dozen other Louisiana residents were indicted last year by a federal grand jury in Baton Rouge.
