The vote by the Baton Rouge Metro Council on Mayor Broome's road tax proposal is just hours away.
The panel will decide the fate of the MOVEBR plan when it meets later today. Broome wants to impose a half-cent sales tax to fund road improvement work.
It's now up to the council whether to send the plan to voters for a decision on December 8th.
