Disciplinary appeal hearings will be held by the local civil service board this fall for the Baton Rouge police officers involved in the deadly 2016 shooting of Alton Sterling.
The hearing for ex-cop Blake Salamoni, who fatally shot Sterling while he and Officer Howie Lake wrestled with him on the ground outside a convenience store, will be held October 18th and 19th. Lake's hearing is set for November 15th.
Salamoni was fired from the force and Lake was suspended for three days.
