The LSU Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge is about to launch a weeks-long study into a potential weight-loss drug.
Officials say the ADORE study will help determine the drug's effectiveness in combination with restrictions on calorie intake.
Volunteers accepted into the study will receive compensation that could total in excess of $4100, but, among other things, will require a 24-day stay at the Pennington Biomedical Inpatient Unit.
