An elderly woman is safe today, fully engaging her thinking cap after being kidnapped by a man in the parking lot of the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino.
Police say the 83-year-old victim was forced into her car at gunpoint Wednesday and then made to drive to a nearby bank to withdraw money.
But, the jig was up for 42-year-old Tamikia Raymond when the woman stopped her vehicle in traffic, prompting an off-duty Slidell police officer to investigate the matter that led to Raymond's arrest.
