The upcoming hurricane season is expected to be active. However, it's not expected to be as bad as the brutal 2017 season.
Colorado State University's Tropical Meteorology Project is calling for seven hurricanes, three of them could be category three or higher, and 14 named storms are possible. You can read the report here.
The hurricane season begins June 1st.
