The Baton Rouge Fire Department is sending personnel to New Orleans to help with rescue efforts after Tuesday's tornado.
BRFD officials announced they have firefighters from Baton Rouge, Zachary, Central, and West Feliciana heading into the storm-damaged areas.
About 30 members of the Louisiana U.S. Army Reserve Task Force 2 are also in on the effort.
