The Coach O Raising Cane's billboard along Highway 42 in Prairieville is no more.

The sign came down almost exactly 24 hours after the announcement that LSU was removing head football coach Ed Orgeron after the 2021 season.

Raising Cane's owner Todd Graves almost immediately responded to tweets about the sign change, saying that the Cane's contract for the billboard and others like it ended at the end of last month.

Graves added that the move was unrelated to Sunday's announcement from LSU and that the company was working with Lamar Advertising to put up messages thanking Orgeron, as shown below.

Orgeron and LSU confirmed Sunday the two sides had reached a "separation agreement" with the 2021 season being Orgeron's last at the university.
