Bond Set At $750K For Suspect Accused Of Hiding Baton Rouge Toddler's Body

Bond is $750,000 for a Baton Rouge man accused of hiding a toddler's body in Mississippi.

Investigators say Phillip Gardner claims he got rid of Nevaeh Allen's remains after she died while taking a nap last Friday.

The 30-year-old, Allen's stepfather, was arrested yesterday on obstruction and unlawful disposal of remains. He is not accused of killing the girl.

Police aren't sure how the two-year-old died but noted an autopsy is pending.
