Two teen brothers accused of killing an elderly woman on Monday are expected to appear for a hearing in juvenile court today.
Prosecutors say the two suspects, ages 15 and 16, approached 74-year-old Angela Haymon at her home on Morel Drive and fatally shot her in the carport.
Haymon's husband then engaged in a shootout with the teens, wounding the 15-year-old who was taken to the hospital.
The 15-year-old is being charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and attempted armed robbery while the 16-year-old is being charged as an accessory.
