Saturday 4 am Update: Barry Continues To Inch Towards The Louisiana Coast

Tropical Storm Barry continues to hang right off the Louisiana coast Saturday morning, though its effects are being felt as the storm's rainbands make it ashore.

Barry continues to hold on to max winds of 65 miles per hour and higher gusts while moving west-northwest at a leisurely five miles per hour.

There are numerous power outages in southeast Louisiana.

Landfall is expected sometime as Saturday, possibly as a low-end category 1 hurricane. Heavy rains and storm surge on the storm's eastern side remain the biggest threats.
