Chance Of Tropical Development In Gulf Of Mexico Increasing

The National Hurricane Center says the chance of a tropical development in the Gulf of Mexico is increasing.

Over the next few days, an area of low pressure is expected to move over the Eastern part of the body of water.

The NHC has put the chance of a tropical development at 80% over the next five days.

Local temperatures and the chance of rain will be dependent on the path of the low-pressure system this week.
